Dr. Jayesh, born in Pune, completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from the prestigious Government Dental College, Mumbai in 1992 by standing first class first in the University of Bombay. He has an outstanding record of securing the highest marks in all subjects form first year BDS to the final year of graduation and holds the "Best Outgoing Student’s" trophy for his academic excellence. After completing his Bachelor’s degree, he chose to pursue post-graduation in "Dentofacial Orthopedics."

His keen interest and passion for academics motivated him to work hard in various aspects of his field adding more feathers to his cap. Dr Jayesh completed the Board Certification and was awarded Diplomate of Indian Board of Orthodontics (DIBO) in 2003.

He completed M Orth RCS (Edin) (UK) in 2004, which is awarded by the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh, United Kingdom. He also completed Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in the subject of Orthodontics by the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi in 2005

In 2014 he was awarded FDS RCS (Edin)(UK) by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, United Kingdom and was Elected as the "Director of Indian Board of Orthodontics" in the same year itself;He worked as Chairman of Indian Board of Orthodontics from 2018 to 2019. He worked an director of Indian Board of Orthodontics from 2014-2019. He did a mini Residency at Yonsei University, Seol, South Korea in the year 2017. Dr. Jayesh is a Certified Invisalign Provider (Aligner Treatment) and also Certified Incognito Provider(Lingual Braces)

Being a Jnana Prabodhini alumnus he always dreamt of contributing something for the socitey doing something which united people. Thus, the idea of Pune Orthodontic Study Group was formed. He has conducted many lectures, seminars and sessions in the orthodontic field as well as awareness programs for laymen. Many of his papers have been published in various national and international journals related to orthodontics and dentistry. Dr. Jayesh is a multifaceted personality – an orthodontic scholar, an able practitioner, a PhD guide, a good orator and as well as a fascinating teacher.
