Dr. Jyoti J. Rahalkar completed her Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery (BAMS) from the Tilak Ayurved Mahavidyalaya & Seth Tarachand Ramnath Hospital, Pune in 1992 - She completed her Post-graduate Diploma in Rasayana & Vajikarn (DRV) ie in Preventive Medicine from Tilak Arurved Mahavidyalaya Pune in 1996. Dr. Jyoti is working as Honorary Yoga, Ante-natal and Post-natal consultant at Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital, Pune. She is also a team member and leader of the child birth preparation classes at Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital.

She has many laurels at various artistic gymnastics events. She has been a coach for many Gymnasts. She also has completed International Olympic Judge’s criteria. She runs an exclusive ladies health club in Mayur Colony Kothrud Pune. Where Aerobics, Yoga, Pranayam (breathing techniques) Meditation sessions are conducted in Morning batches. Special evening meditation sessions are conducted for meditation for males and females.

Her special interests are *Sports medicine *Preventive Medicine to enhance overall health and improve immunity *To facilitate intellect in young growing children *Medication and Councelling, relaxation therapy for Depression, anxiety, insomnia (sleeplessness) and Positive outlook *Dahan chikitsa (heat therapy)For acute pain relief and chronic muscular pain.

She conducts courses on - Role of Yoga in Therapeutic and Restorative rehabilitation in Occupational Hazards.

Pranayama for Management of Stress in Corporate world.

She has many national and international paper presentations at various conferences, seminars and workshops to her credit.

Dr. Jyoti is also an eminent poetess, writer and translator. She has written more than one thousand poems. Her book 'Sangavasa vatata mhanun' is published in 2010 'Meghadoot ek Kavyanuvad' A translation of Mahakavi Kalidas's Meghdoot is published on 3rd July 19 on occasion of Kalidas din. Samashlokee of Saint Jnaneshwar Maharaj's Jnaneshwari is on its way of publication Translating Sanskrit Subhashitas in simple Marathi is her passion. She has been anchoring Musical programs since more than ten years. She arranges various poetic programs on various occasions.
